1 to 5 of December, in the Region of Murcia was the scene of the European Congress of the European Senior Golf Association (ESGA), an international meeting that brought together representatives of the 23 member countries of this organization, cementing the region as a landmark destination for golf tourism in Europe.
The Association of Entrepreneurs of Golf in the Region of Murcia (AEGOLFMURCIA), together with the Institute of Tourism of the Region of Murcia, performed on day 1 of December, an official presentation of the destination in the Hotel 525, where he was exposed to the full range of golf courses and accommodations that make the Region an ideal location for the practice of golf throughout the year.
The program of the congress continued to the December 2, with the official celebration of the Congress of the ESGA, in a day of work focused on the development and promotion of golf senior at european level.
On 3 December, the participants enjoyed a day of golf in the Real La Manga Club, one of the complexes golfísticos most emblematic of Spain, while the December 4, the activity is moved to the Valley Golf course, where they were able to learn first-hand about another of the great names of golf in the region.
Finally, on the 5th of December, the attendants returned to their respective countries, thus putting an end to a busy week of sport, networking and the promotion of tourism.
From the AEGOLFMURCIA and the Institute of Tourism of the Region of Murcia has been valued very positively the celebration of this event, highlighting its impact on the international projection of the target and in the generation of new opportunities for the tourism sector of golf.
